I could have sworn you gave up CF.

CF ROCKS!!! My question is what are you looking for in trying/purchasing FusionDebug. I've never used it or even looked into it, but CF8 has a lot of built-in server monitoring stuff in the admin now. There's also more debugging integration for IDEs as well (but I don't recall much about it since I'm still using Homesite+) I'm sure there's a breeze-o you could find from the DC or MD CFUGs (or somewhere) that covers it fairly in depth.

Long live Homesite! If only its UTF-8 support was fixed.

I haven't used it, but I've installed it and watched a screen cast or two. If I did any heavy CF'ing I'd probably be more interested in it. Most of the CF I'm doing these days is pretty simple.

I would see what CF8 has built in and how CFEclipse integrates with it. I seem to remember some stuff about stepping through code like that too, although I guess it could have been a demo of Fusiondebug. I've never had much of a need for it, so I probably didn't pay attention. (because I write golden code, of course).
